Nothing interesting to say

Sunday, April 6th, 2003

Usually I only update my Jog when there is something interesting to write about, however, sometimes when I have something interesting to write about I forget to update it anyway! So I’m going to break this rule just this once and update it without anything interesting….

Well anyway nothing interesting has happened since I updated it last Thursday. Friday I went to school for the morning, had physics then maths methods, before coming home at lunchtime. Got to drive for once since my mum didn’t need her car. Friday night I was feeling pretty tired so went to bed realitively early (well midnight). With the great weather we had on Saturday, I managed to clock up half an hour in the sun reading my physics book. With another fine day today I went over to East Burwood with my sister to do some shopping. And that wraps up my weekend. Nothing too interesting, aye?

War it seems

Thursday, April 3rd, 2003

Again, I’ve been slow to update my Jogger. My country is now officially at war and so has been the case for the past two weeks. Two weeks ago, the Americans would have has believe that it would be over in a matter of weeks. Now that only two weeks have past, it can clearly be seen that this ‘little’ war is going to drag on for months. Never the less, I didn’t agree with it in the first place. I can only see that it’ll add more fuel to the fire at the terrorist/extremist camps. Australia may already have been a terrorist target, however it can only help to breed more terrorists. The end result is that the Americans have dragged it’s allies to war with a war plan that has proven to be flawed. In a sense it’s ironic since the French are accusing the Americans and the Germans don’t want to go to war! Just as well the that these European counteries have some sense.

Overall the Americans are really to blame for getting us into this situation. The reason the Americans know that Iraq has the weapons of mass destruction is because they gave them to Iraq. Who do you think setup the Taliban? Well I’ll be damned, it was the Americans! It only angers me more that Australia has become involved in this affair. It’s he first time in the history of our country that Australia has been involved in starting a war. Thank god there is still such a thing as humour though. Little Johny’s blog is a sure crackup.

Asides from all this depressing business, I am only going on with life as usual. Didn’t do too well (C+) on my Physics SAC, though fortunately it only accounts for 3% of my marks in Physics. As for Specialist Maths I got 13/20 which I thought is pretty good, considering that I would have been doing one less subject if I didn’t do it. Apparently that will scale to about a B, though that depends on my total score at the end of the year. Fortunately there has not been a Maths Methods SAC yet. Enough about school anyway.

Scary things that you find

Tuesday, March 18th, 2003

Today was a long day. Not only was it hot, but I have a cold and have had a headache all day. To top it off there was a Physics SAC today. I don’t think I did terribly well, although I did have something something to write for just about every question (albeit possibly random). It wasn’t helped by the fact that I wasn’t feeling well and I hadn’t been feeling well over the weekend, when I was supposed to study.

Last night I was scrounging around for a class photo from year 9. Finally I found that I didn’t have it on my computer or a CD-ROM as I had expected, though I found it was still on my old school’s network after all these years! I also found a year 10 one that was on my computer (but couldn’t find it last night because I had forgotten which form I was in, in yr 10!). Scary that one is because there were no chics in my class!!! It’s a little wonder that I never showed up for school in year 10. Well now seems like a good time to sleep.

School, school and more school

Sunday, March 16th, 2003

Hey Jogger, I’ve been neglecting you a little lately, how bad of me, aye? Well this weekend was another one of those eventless ones apart from the fact that my throat is hurting (though got my Strepsils for it finally)! Worse still, I have a Physics SAC on Tuesday which has already been delayed, yet I’m still not ready for it. Got a heap of maths to finish off as well. Nothing too interesting in my life at the moment, just seems to be comprised of school and sleeping! At least one good thing has been talking to this nice girl on the net (she knows who she is :P).

One more day

Sunday, October 6th, 2002

Last day of the holidays and I just found out I don’t have school tomorrow…. gotta love that… extended by one day!

Nothing exciting

Saturday, August 10th, 2002

I seem to have almost forgotten about you Jogger…. well since the last entry I’ve only had about 4 other letters to the editor published in the dodgy local newspaper. Today I didn’t go to school and instead spent the day writing an English essay that was due in weeks ago. Guess I’ll be spending the weekend doing homework as well. Nothing exciting! Time for bed anyway….

Exams are over

Monday, June 17th, 2002

Well I’m glad that exams are over… as of Friday morning when I had my last exam (Physics)… but whoops today I didn’t go to school. Tommorow I have two cisco tests though they should be easy. Apparently there was fog over the city for most of yesterday…. it’s a pitty I didn’t know about it as I would have gone to take some photos (if there was anything to be seen)… apparently it was supposed to be rare but I don’t know why as I couldn’t find it on any news sites.

First day at a new school

Monday, February 11th, 2002

Well today was my first day at Box Hill Senior Secondary College. I started about a week and a half after everyone else because they wouldn’t say if I could go there. I’m really glad to be getting my VCE underway again and to be at a new school. I’m also glad that I found another school without uniform but they have no bells which is going to take a bit of getting used to. Well just have to keep the time in mind! I think I need a new mobile phone that beeps each time that I should be getting ready to go to class.. it also needs to be able to set the time from the mobile network or GPS and it would be preferable if it was running Linux… anyone know any GSM phones using Linux as for the firmware?
