Maybe tomorrow

Monday, April 7th, 2003

My life’s been generally bland these days. Shrug. What can I say? I’ve just been staying at home waiting for something to happen, but I don’t care. I’ve pretty much been doing nothing.

Hehe, okay I got that out of The Apathetic Online Journal Entry Generator. It’s not quite how my life is, but you get the drift!

Nothing interesting to say

Sunday, April 6th, 2003

Usually I only update my Jog when there is something interesting to write about, however, sometimes when I have something interesting to write about I forget to update it anyway! So I’m going to break this rule just this once and update it without anything interesting….

Well anyway nothing interesting has happened since I updated it last Thursday. Friday I went to school for the morning, had physics then maths methods, before coming home at lunchtime. Got to drive for once since my mum didn’t need her car. Friday night I was feeling pretty tired so went to bed realitively early (well midnight). With the great weather we had on Saturday, I managed to clock up half an hour in the sun reading my physics book. With another fine day today I went over to East Burwood with my sister to do some shopping. And that wraps up my weekend. Nothing too interesting, aye?

War it seems

Thursday, April 3rd, 2003

Again, I’ve been slow to update my Jogger. My country is now officially at war and so has been the case for the past two weeks. Two weeks ago, the Americans would have has believe that it would be over in a matter of weeks. Now that only two weeks have past, it can clearly be seen that this ‘little’ war is going to drag on for months. Never the less, I didn’t agree with it in the first place. I can only see that it’ll add more fuel to the fire at the terrorist/extremist camps. Australia may already have been a terrorist target, however it can only help to breed more terrorists. The end result is that the Americans have dragged it’s allies to war with a war plan that has proven to be flawed. In a sense it’s ironic since the French are accusing the Americans and the Germans don’t want to go to war! Just as well the that these European counteries have some sense.

Overall the Americans are really to blame for getting us into this situation. The reason the Americans know that Iraq has the weapons of mass destruction is because they gave them to Iraq. Who do you think setup the Taliban? Well I’ll be damned, it was the Americans! It only angers me more that Australia has become involved in this affair. It’s he first time in the history of our country that Australia has been involved in starting a war. Thank god there is still such a thing as humour though. Little Johny’s blog is a sure crackup.

Asides from all this depressing business, I am only going on with life as usual. Didn’t do too well (C+) on my Physics SAC, though fortunately it only accounts for 3% of my marks in Physics. As for Specialist Maths I got 13/20 which I thought is pretty good, considering that I would have been doing one less subject if I didn’t do it. Apparently that will scale to about a B, though that depends on my total score at the end of the year. Fortunately there has not been a Maths Methods SAC yet. Enough about school anyway.
